New Zealand and thrashed West Indies by 143 to seal their semi-final spot in theICC World Cup 2015. After posting a massive 393 thanks to Martin Guptill's unbeaten 237-run knock, the Kiwi bowlers, led by Trent Boult, easily bowled out the Windies for 250. Brendon McCullum's team will face South Africa in the first semi-final on March 24.

Boult bowled fast and accurate to concede just 2 runs off his 9th over. This has been a clinic in left-arm fast bowling from the Kiwi.

Gayle inside edge a very quick Milne delivery straight back on to his stumps. Milne's raw pace did the West Indian there who was late on his big drive. Darren Sammy walked out to the middle and hit two back-to-back fours through the covers.

Adam Milne was introduced in to the attack. Gayle brought up his fifty by gently guiding a delivery off his hips for a for.

Jonathan Carter played a cut through point for four and followed it up with a good-looking cover drive in front of square to derive the same result.

Gayle is in devastating form. He hooked Southee over mid-wicket for a six and then followed it up with another one straight over long-on with effortless ease. It appears as though Gayle is batting in a different match from rest of his teammates.

Marlon Samuels played an upper-cut to Boult's short delivery. Vettori at deep point boundary jumped in the air and plucked the ball, one handed, out of thin air to complete one of the best catches of this World Cup. The entire team ran to the veteran to celebrate. What a moment!
Boult followed it up with another beautiful delivery to trap Ramdin lbw. Gayle is just watching this from the other end.

Martin Guptill stroked Samuels down the ground to pick up a single and complete his ton. He created history by becoming the first Kiwi to register back-to-back tons at a World Cup. No fancy celebrations from the centurion. This is serious business!

Textbook stuff from Guptill and Taylor on how to play a spinner in the middle overs and rotate strike. They picked up six singles off Samuels without taking any risk. Sensible batting.

Sammy has done a good job ever since coming on to bowl. Only two runs off that over. His figures read 3-0-11-0. Both Sammy and Samuels have managed to pull things back for West Indies by stemming the flow of runs. Boundaries have been hard to come by for the Kiwis now.

Very good stuff from Samuels. He has kept things very tight from one end. Ross Taylor is not in free-flowing form and is taking his time to build the innings.
