New Delhi: Bangladesh beat Scotland by six wickets with 11 balls to spare. They have five points and face England next in a must-win scenario to qualify for quarters.

Shakib hits the winning runs by hitting a four. He brings up his fifty. Fourth player of Bangladesh to get a fifty in the match.

Wardlaw bowls a tight over giving away just four runs. Davey then tries a yorker but Sabbir flicks for a four. He then follows it up with a low full toss and Sabbir doesn't miss out smacks another boundary. 12 runs come from the over. Next over Shakib hits straight past the bowler for another boundary, Wardlaw concedes eight. Evans is driven through covers and another four comes as Shakib helps it through. Sabbir then hits a four to level the scores. He defends the last two balls.

Sabbir goes big again and clears the rope. This time it's Haq. Nine runs come from the over. Davey bowls the next over and Shakib gets a single reaching out to a wide delivery. Sabbir too

gets a single driving a ball to the fielder in the square front. Shakib hits a six off the last ball, This is Bangladesh's highest WC total.

Haq bowls a tight over and keeps the pressure as Sabbir defends and manages a single of the last ball only. Another tight over by Evans this time and Sabbir got an edge but there was no slips. The ball races to the boundary and it is a lucky respite. Five runs come from the next over and Bangladesh will be happy that Shakib is still there. Shakib hits one through long leg and gets a four. Sabbir gets into the act and smashes one over midwicket fence off Evans. 11 runs come from the over.

Batting powerplay has been taken by Bangladesh. Davey to bowl and runs are coming easily with a healthy strike rotation. Shakib then pulls a ball through deep midwicket boundary for four runs. 10 come from the over. Next over Rahim hits a huge shot over the commentary box to get to his fifty. He then smashes  Wardlaw for a four through backward point. 15 runs come from the over. Evans comes to bowl and Shakib gets a vital couple. Three singles are brought and then Evans foxes Rahim with a slower ball. Rahim skies it to the long on fielder and Bangladesh lose another set batsman.

Next two overs produce just 6 runs as Scotland look for wickets. Rahim gets an edge and Machan runs to collect it but his dive proves futile as the ball bounces short. He then cuts Machan for a four. Seven runs come from the over.

Tamim gets two vital runs through square-leg and then is beaten by a straight delivery by Davey. The ball clipped his pads and an easy decision made by the umpire. Tamim departs for 95.

Evans bowls and Rahim picks up two twos to make sure the Asian side are chasing it well. Machan continues and Rahim sweeps for a huge six over deep midwicket. 10 runs come from the over. In the next over Haq gets treated badly with a four by Rahim through long off.

Four runs come from Evans' over before Machan bowls a loose one and Rahim pinishes him with a boundary. Tamim then drives again through extra-cover for a couple. He is in some problems with cramps. Anyways he gets a single and becomes Bangladesh's highest scorer in ODI World Cup history.

Haq bowls and Tamim opens the face of his bat and gets a boundary. Next over Rahim too finds the fence as he lashes a shot past backward point for a four. Nine runs come from the over.

Reports have come that Anamul will not be able to bat today. So one man already wasted apart from a wicket. Seven runs come from Haq's over as bangladesh move along well. Mahmudullah gets a four off the first ball from Wardlaw. Mahmudullah tries to charge down and the ball chips his toe and takes a big turn and hits the stumps. partnership is finally broken. Unlucky wicket this. Rahim comes in and gets a gift and hits a four. He then picks up a couple square of the wicket.

Haq continues and five singles are purchased from the over. Bangladesh are on the right foot here. Berrington comes to bowl and Tamim crashes a shot past covers for four. Mahmudullah gets a brace through deep extra-cover. Berrington then gets hit for another four with Haq diving in front of the boundary and his feet touched the ropes.

Machan continues and Tamim gets an edge to get two runs. Six come from the over. Haq then concedes two singles and a wide as Bangladesh bring up their 100-run mark. Machan gives away four singles before Tamim gets a couple after nicely working his shot through fine leg. One run comes from the last ball as drinks are called.

Evans continues and Tamim chips in with a single before Mahmudullah hits a six. It was a short ball and finds the distance over backward square. The batsmen get two singles before Mahmudullah gets a four off the last ball. Davey bowls and Tamim steals a single. Mahmudullah too gets a solitary run. Tamim hits a cover drive for four before keeping strike.

Tamim chips over extra-cover and gets two runs as fifty comes up for Bangladesh. The next delivery he smashes through the cover fence for four. Eight runs come from the over. A good over by Evans that follows next but Tamim gets a boundary off the last ball to keep the scorecard ticking along. Mahmudullah gets a single through backward leg. Tamim then gets an unplayable ball from Davey before he manages a single.

Tamim gets lucky off the last ball in the seventh over as a rash shot goes for six over fine leg. Evans then bowls a maiden to Mahmudullah. Bangladesh needs a partnership here.

Mahmudullah goes through the off side and gets a brace. Tamim then flicks to the leg side boundary as Davey's over costs 10 runs. Mahmudullah hits one through third man for four off Wardlaw. Five runs come from the over. Mahmudullah slaps one through cover for four in the next over and he gets one more through midwicket region. 11 runs come from the over.

Tamim pulls two back to back boundaries and brings up 4000 runs in ODI cricket. There is a LBW appeal that follows but umpire isn't interested.

Sarkar gets off with a two through deep extra-cover. Sarkar then survives a scare as Davey appeals for a LBW. the ball pitched outside the line. The next ball he departs after trying to guide a ball towards fine leg and gets a nick of his bat. Remember they are a man short too. Bad shot this! Mahmudullah comes into bat.

First ball is short and a good bounce right away. Iain Wardlaw then follows it up with a wide and Bangladesh open their account. Tamim defends the next two balls. Not much swing yet and the batsmen need to give a chance to themselves. Tamim drives and gets a couple. The next ball shapes away and is left alone. Three runs come from the first over.

Bangladesh will chase now and the batsmen want to show they are ready to step up and deliver.

Scotland finish with a huge total on the board and Bangladesh require 318 runs from 50 overs.

Shakib gives away three singles from his first three balls. A dot ball follows and this is clever stuff. Haq then tries to play a good shot but finds the fielder who takes a smart catch diving to his front. A wide is bowled in the next ball after the batsman tries to make room. Scotland finish on 317 after a quick brace come from the last ball.

Cross hits Shakib for a huge six off a flick through the on side. Eight runs come from the over. Taskin Ahmed bowls and well Tamim tries hard to get hold of a catch off Cross but the ball fell short. A wide is followed before Cross's shot hits Berrington on his hand and he is in huge pain. A slight delay but its underway. Next ball Taskin gets the wicket of Berrington who goes for a huge loft and an edge is carried high in the air and Rahim collects. Cross gets a thick edge and the ball flies over the vacant slip area for four. Cross tries to clear room and spank a shot but he finds the cover fielder. He departs for 20.

After three singles, Coetzer decides to go big and finds the fielder this time. He goes after a mammoth innings. Nasir ends the over well.

Coetzer brings up his 150 after getting a single. Berrington then plays through the off side to get a run. Coetzer sweeps Sabbir and gets a four. A precious dot follows and a tight sibgle comes next as the bowler misses the stumps by miles. It was close. Berrington keeps strike.

Nasir Hossain bowls and Coetzer gets a brace in the on side. A bad fielding sees another couple being allowed. Another two runs this time and that comes through square-leg. Coetzer gives strike to Mommsen who goes for a big shot and gifts a catch. Nasir breaks the partnership. It was a 141-run stand between the two. Berrington is the new batsman and Coetzer keeps strike.

Mortaza looks to bowl full and with third man close in the field Coetzer gets a boundary through that area. He then hits a full toss over mid-off for another boundary. A heave sees Coetzer miss the next ball as a dot ball arrives. Coetzer goes big again and dispatches an ordinary ball over the boundary rope for a six. Coetzer is on song here. A run comes from the last ball and Coetzer keeps strike.

Scotland have made the powerplay count. They are on course for a huge total here. Shakib concedes six runs from his over with both batsmen happy to rotate strike. Coetzer marks his brilliance after hitting Rubel for a four through covers. A full delivery and Coetzer goes aerial for another boundary. The next shot goes for a six and Rubel is hammered here by the centurion. 18 runs come from the over. Nasir Hossain bowls and five runs come.

Coetzer brings up his ton and Scotland has gone past 200 runs!

Coetzer has been brilliant for Scotland and leads the way here for the European team. Mommsen too has settled in well and has scored runs quickly. Scotland have taken the batting powerplay and Coetzer hits one through extra-cover for four off Mortaza. Shakib then concedes just four runs. Coetzer hits Rubel for a six to bring up his century and also the 200-run mark comes up for Scotland. He gets a single from the next ball to rotate the strike. Mommsen keeps strike from the last ball.

Sabbir Rahman has mixed it up well and Scotland will now look for a new partnership. Rubel then bowls another tidy over for just two runs. Sabbir Rahman is spanked by Coetzer through extra-cover for a four. Rubel Hossain too is hit for a four by Coetzer who is leading Scottish charge. Taskin Ahmed comes back to bowl and is greeted with a sublime four by Coetzer. Mommsen then too gets a boundary through third man off the same over. 150 runs are up.

Coetzer gets another boundary as he plays a good shot through the off side off Mortaza. Sabbir Rahman is introduced by Rahim and well he breaks the partnership after getting Machan. The shot was played straight back to the bowler. Six runs come from the over. Coetzer goes aerial over backward point and gets a four off Rubel. He also brings up his fifty. Rahman then concedes three to keep the score in check.

Coetzer and Machan has added 65 runs for the fourth wicket.

Scotland are batting well here and thee batsmen are getting some valuable runs in the middle. Shakib comes back to bowl and impresses once again. Tight overt from him. Rubel Hossain bowls the next over and Coetzer then gets an important boundary. Coetzer then decides to attack Shakib and hits a six over deep midwicket boundary. He then hits a four through midwicket. 11 runs come from the over. Mortaza replaces Rubel and Machan gets an important couple through extra-cover. Five runs come. Shakib is sweeped by Coetzer and the 100-run mark is completed by Scotland. Four runs come.

Coetzer hits one to the fence off Mahmudullah through backward square. Good shot from the batsman. Seven runs come from the over. Taskin Ahmed concedes a four to Machan who finds the fence through backward square. Coetzer then gets on the act and steers one to the boundary in the same over. 11 runs come from the over as Scots are finding a way to move gears here. Four singles come from Mahmudullah's over. Rubel Hossain is the new man to bowl here as he replaces Ahmed. Machan hits one through extra-cover boundary as Rubel's first over costs seven runs. Mahmudullah then bowls well with Nasir making a brilliant save in the over. One run thats all and it is drinks break.

Gardiner slashes one straight to cover fielder as Ahmed gets his man. Two runs come from the over. Mahmudullah is introduced and a six is hit by Machan who effortlessly cleans to the stands. A decent over otherwise. A good tidy over from Ahmed sees only a solitary run come from the next over.

Gardiner pulls one to the midwicket boundary fence for four off Mortaza. Taskin Ahmed comes in and concedes four singles that included a leg-bye. Rubel Hossain replaces Mortaza and well bowls a costly over. A pull shot and an edge off a flick sees Gardiner gain momentum as eight runs come from the over.

Gardiner clears his front leg and plays a short-arm pull and gets two off Shakib. Four runs come from the over. Coetzer then gets two runs off Mortaza behind off square on the off side. Coetzer is forced to use up an entire over off Shakib without scoring. It was a tightly knit over. Good from Bangladesh here.

Shakib is introduced straight away. Just two singles come from his tidy looking over. Some noise by the fans cheering up Bangladesh. MacLeod then throws his wicket away after trying to work the ball for a run and it takes the leading edge. Mahmudullah does the rest and says thank you. Gardiner comes in and gets off the mark after picking a single through fine leg. Coetzer defends the last ball solidly.

Mortaza starts off with the proceedings and Kyle Coetzer gets off the mark with a single. Calum MacLeod drives Mortaza for a superb timely boundary through the off side.
